Sodium stannate CAS 12058-66-1
Sodium stannate appears as white to light brown crystals and is soluble in water. Insoluble in ethanol and acetone. When heated to 140 ℃, the crystal water is lost. It is easy to absorb moisture and carbon dioxide in the air and decompose into tin hydroxide and sodium carbonate, so the aqueous solution is alkaline. When heated to 140 ℃, it loses its crystalline water and becomes anhydrous. Absorbs carbon dioxide in the air to form sodium carbonate and tin hydroxide.
