What is zinc pyrithione?
Zinc pyrithione (also known as 2-Mercaptopyridine N-Oxide Zinc Salt, zinc 2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide or ZPT) is known as a “coordination complex” of zinc and pyrithione. Due to its antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties, ZPT is used as an ingredient in skin care and hair products.

ZPT-50 is a superfine water suspension of Zinc Pyrithione. What is zinc pyrithione used for?
