The product 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldiphenyl phosphine oxide (TPO) with cas 75980-60-8 is an efficient photoinitiator. The absorption wavelength of the photo-dissociation product moves to the short wave, and has the effect of photo-bleaching, which is beneficial to the ultraviolet light transmission, and can be used for the curing of thick coating. The thermal stability of TPO is excellent. It is heated to 180℃ without chemical reaction and has good storage stability. Although 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldiphenyl phosphine oxide (TPO) has its own light yellow, it becomes colorless after photosynthesis and does not change yellowing.

Unilong TPO(2,4,6-TRIMETHYLBENZOYL-DIPHENYL PHOSPHINE OXIDE) is a highly efficient, low yellowing, Type I photoinitiator used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers e.g. acrylates, after exposure to UV light. It can be used in combination with mono or multi-functional monomers as reactive diluents.
