Lithium silicate is a type of water-soluble silicate. Odorless and odorless transparent liquid. Soluble in water and alkaline solutions, insoluble in alcohols and organic solvents. Since the radius of lithium ion is much smaller than that of sodium and potassium ions, lithium silicate aqueous solution has some unique properties. Like sodium water glass, it reacts with acid to generate two oxidation gel. Made by high-temperature melting of lithium carbonate and silicon dioxide, used for calibrating thermoelectric components such as thermocouples. Lithium silicate aqueous solution has excellent water resistance, high temperature resistance, and dry wet change impact performance, as well as unique self drying and non solubility. It has a wide range of applications in anti-corrosion, building coatings, and advanced adhesives.
