1. It is one of the important raw materials for new special engineering plastics such as polyimide, polyetherimide, polyesterimide, polymaleimide, polyaramid and other high temperature resistant resins;

4. It is also used to replace carcinogenic benzidine in the production of azo dyes, reactive dyes and fragrances.
