It is a green and environmentally friendly solvent, colorless liquid, molecular weight 118.17, distillation range 163～174℃, non-volatile, relative density 0.9019, boiling point 171.1 ℃, flash point 60.5 ℃, toxic, miscible with water, linseed oil and hydrocarbon solvents, has strong dissolving ability to synthetic rubber, suitable for natural rubber and synthetic rubber solvent, also used as rosin, Solvent for shellac, kauri and indene resins, ethyl and nitrocellulose.
