    UV-531 belongs to the benzophenone class of ultraviolet absorbers, with the chemical name 2-hydroxy-4-n-octyloxybenzophenone. It is a light yellow needle shaped crystalline powder at room temperature and is an excellent and efficient anti-aging agent that can strongly absorb ultraviolet light. It has the characteristics of light color, non toxicity, good compatibility, low mobility, and easy processing. It is widely used in PE PVC、PP、PS、PC、 Organic glass, polypropylene fiber, and ethylene vinyl acetate.
