Erioglaucine sediment salt is a deep purple to bronze colored particle or powder with a metallic luster. Odorless. Strong light and heat resistance. Stable to citric acid, tartaric acid, and alkali. Easy to dissolve in water (18.7g/100ml, 21 ℃), a 0.05% neutral aqueous solution appears clear blue. It appears blue when weakly acidic, yellow when strongly acidic, and purple only when boiled and alkaline is added.
