Di-PE CAS 126-58-9
As an important fine chemical intermediate, Di-PE is regarded as a medium-to-high-end product in the pentaerythritol industry. It is mainly used in the production of environmentally friendly UV-curable coatings, high-grade alkyd resins, high-grade aviation lubricants, plasticizers, polyethers, polyesters, polyurethanes, and photosensitive resin films. In terms of photosensitive coatings, diquaternary acrylates can be used as stainless steel color plates and high-grade granite spray masks, with strong adhesion, friction resistance, and excellent aging resistance. Superfine dipentaerythritol is mainly used in the production of fire retardant coatings and PVC stabilizers.

1. Coatings
(1) Production of polyester resins: Di-PE reacts with polyacids to produce high-performance polyester resins, which are used to produce high-end coatings such as automotive topcoats and coil coatings, and can make the coatings have good weather resistance, corrosion resistance and gloss.
(2) Manufacturing alkyd resins: Di-PE is an important raw material for the production of alkyd resins. The alkyd resin coatings produced have good drying properties, flexibility and adhesion, and are widely used in coatings in the fields of construction and furniture.
2. Plastics industry
(1) Synthetic plastic plasticizers: Di-PE can be used as a raw material to synthesize a variety of plasticizers, which are used in plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to effectively improve the flexibility, plasticity and processing properties of plastics.
Preparation of polyurethanes: Di-PE participates in the synthesis reaction of polyurethanes and is used to manufacture polyurethane foam plastics, elastomers and other products. These polyurethane materials are widely used in insulation, shock absorption, sealing and other aspects.
(2) Ink industry: Di-PE is used to produce ink binders, which can improve the gloss, drying speed and adhesion of ink, making the printed products have good quality and effect.
3. Other fields
(1) Surfactants: Di-PE can be used to synthesize some surfactants with special properties, which are used in detergents, emulsifiers and other products, and have good emulsification, dispersion and decontamination properties.
(2) Electronic chemicals: In the electronics industry, Di-PE can be used to prepare some electronic packaging materials, photoresists, etc., which plays an important role in the performance and stability of electronic products.
