    What is Crotonaldehyde CAS 123-73-9?

    Crotonaldehyde is a colorless, transparent, flammable liquid. There is a suffocating and irritating odor. When in contact with light or air, it turns into a pale yellow liquid, and its vapor is an extremely strong tear gas agent.     Application

    Crotonaldehyde is a commonly used organic synthetic raw material for the production of n-butanal, n-butanol, 2-ethylhexanol, sorbic acid, 3-methoxybutanal, 3-methoxybutanol, butenic acid, quinaldine, maleic anhydride, and pyridine products. In addition, the reaction between butenal and butadiene can produce epoxy resin raw materials and epoxy plasticizers. Reacting with pentaerythritol to obtain heat-resistant resin raw materials.
