    What is ATP disodium salt CAS 987-65-5?

    ATP disodium salt is a metabolite of adenosine, a multifunctional nucleoside triphosphate that is used as a coenzyme for intracellular energy transfer in cells. It transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism. ATP disodium salt is used to synthesize ribose-modified deoxyadenosine diphosphate analogs as P2Y1 receptor ligands.

    Application

    1. Industrial and scientific research uses
    (1) Cosmetic raw materials: added to anti-aging skin care products, it can improve skin elasticity and glossiness by activating cell energy metabolism.
    (2) Food additives: used as a nutritional enhancer in sports drinks and functional foods to quickly replenish energy.
    2. Clinical treatment areas
    (1) Cardiovascular system diseases: used for heart failure, myocarditis, myocardial infarction and cerebral arteriosclerosis, etc., by improving myocardial energy metabolism and dilating coronary arteries (increasing blood flow by about 30%), relieving myocardial ischemia symptoms. For example, in patients with acute myocardial infarction, ATP disodium can shorten the ST segment fall time and reduce the peak value of myocardial enzyme spectrum.
    (2) Nervous system diseases: auxiliary treatment of sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage, brain damage and progressive muscular atrophy, by penetrating the blood-brain barrier (permeability is about 65%), promoting nerve cell membrane repair and nerve process regeneration, and improving nerve conduction velocity.
