Aluminium phosphate CAS 7784-30-7
Aluminum phosphate is a white orthorhombic crystal or powder. Relative density is 2.566. Melting point>1500 ℃. Insoluble in water, soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid, concentrated nitric acid, alkali, and alcohol. It is relatively stable at 580 ℃ and does not melt at 1400 ℃, becoming a gel like substance. There are four crystal forms of aluminum phosphate between room temperature and 1200 ℃, with the most common being the alpha form.
